Housing and Parking

Housing, both on-site at the Fine Arts Work Center and in Provincetown, fills up very quickly.

To secure housing, please book as early as possible.

On-Site Housing

The Fine Arts Work Center has a limited number of apartments available for students on a first-come, first-served basis. All apartments have a full-sized bed, kitchen, private bath, and wireless internet. Apartments do not, however, have a telephone, television, or air-conditioner (fans are available). Students must bring their own sheets (size full), towels and toiletries as well as pillows and blankets. Coin-operated laundry facilities will be available for a few hours on select evenings for students staying on-site. Please bring quarters.

The cost of an apartment is $1,000 for six nights and payment in full is due at time of registration, based upon availability. Check-in is on Sunday between 4-6 PM and check-out is by noon on Saturday. Please note we cannot accommodate early arrivals or late departures, nor can we accommodate requests for a particular apartment.

The Work Center maintains a strict No Pets and No Smoking policy and residents are expected to leave their apartments clean. A cleaning fee will be charged for apartments that require extra cleaning.

Information regarding on-site housing availability is provided at time of registration.
