COVID-19 AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Policies below are for the registrant as well as any guests that may join them during their stay at the Fine Arts Work Center.

As public health recommendations continue to evolve, the Fine Arts Work Center will continue to be responsive to changing public health guidelines and protocols in order to keep our community safe.

For Fall 2022, we will require all guests over the age of five to present proof of vaccination, and for guests 12 and up, proof of vaccine and booster (if eligible). Additionally, we anticipate that we will require all guests to wear a properly fitted mask when indoors—including studios, gallery, bookstore, and common room. The only exceptions to this rule will be for children under two.

We will also require all guests to sign a Covid-19 Waiver of Liability and Indemnity at check-in and provide proof of a negative rapid test within 24 hours of arrival.

In the event of cancellation of The Fall 2022 Returning Residency by either a governing body or the Fine Arts Work Center due to public health mandates, you will be able to defer payment to 2023, or you will be eligible for a full refund.

If you need to cancel your attendance due to a positive COVID test, you will be able to defer payment to Spring or Fall 2023 or be eligible for a full refund with proof of a positive test.

If you choose to cancel your attendance for any other reason, our cancellation policy remains as it always has:

If you cancel three weeks or more before the residency start date, you will receive a full refund minus a $75 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than three weeks prior to the residency start date, you will forfeit your payment in full.
