Welcome to
FAWC Online
The same level of artistic excellence that has influenced creative voices in Provincetown for over 50 years is now accessible wherever your practice may be.
For more than five decades, the Fine Arts Work Center has provided emerging artists and writers with the time, space, and community essential for creative exploration. FAWC Online extends this legacy beyond geographical boundaries, creating year-round opportunities for artistic growth and meaningful creative connections.

We’re reimagining FAWC Online better to serve our vibrant community of artists and writers. Based on your invaluable feedback, we’re developing new ways to nurture creative practice and foster the deep connections that define the FAWC experience.

About Our Offerings
FAWC Online offerings are led by the same accomplished faculty who teach in our renowned programs—writers and artists whose work shapes contemporary culture. Whether you’re exploring poetry, memoir, fiction, playwriting, or visual arts, you’ll work alongside peers in an environment that values both artistic rigor and generous support.
Access and Inclusion
We believe exceptional artistic education should be available to all serious practitioners. Through FAWC Scholar Awards, tiered pricing, and partnerships with organizations including Cave Canem, the Institute for American Indian Arts, Kundiman, Zoeglossia, and Lambda Literary, we’re committed to removing barriers and welcoming diverse voices.
