The office at 24 Pearl Street looks a bit different today!

We are so happy to welcome Administration Director Naya Bricher's new addition, Lilou, to the Work Center family.

Lilou, in turn, is doing an excellent job welcoming our new Programs Director, David Simpson.

David is the co-founder of @allourkidsdc and a resident of Wellfleet, MA.

The Work Center believes in the creative process.

The Work Center believes in the creative process. We provide time and space to artists and writers to make the work that doesn’t yet exist.

Through our core Fellowship program; Returning Residencies; Summer Workshops; and online courses, we invite artists and writers to make our spaces their own.

When they leave, we clear the space for the next creative project; the next lively workshop- the next great thing that happens when artists and writers have a place to make their work.

Join us this summer for a workshop in the literary or visual arts: we’re clearing the space for you now!
