Returning Residency Spring: For FAWC Community
Registration is Open! If you are Collaborative Resident, Summer Program Faculty or Student, or MassArt/FAWC MFA Alumni, you may register here.
We’re pleased to invite our community members to participate in the Fine Arts Work Center’s Returning Residency Program. The program is a great opportunity to recharge your creative batteries and live and work surrounded by other artists and writers in Provincetown. Registration will open shortly for other members of the FAWC community.
If registration is full and you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Returning Residency Waitlist”.

SMOKING AND PETS
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the Work Center property, indoors or outdoors, or on the adjoining residential streets, Pearl Street and Fishburn Court. With the exception of licensed service animals (as defined by the ADA), pets are not permitted at the Work Center. Note: If you plan on bringing your licensed service animal, you will be asked to provide a copy of your service animal’s registration papers.
We cannot accommodate requests for a specific visual arts studio.
Residents must bring their own sheets (size double), pillows, blankets, towels, and toiletries.
Check-in is on Sunday between 4-6 PM and check-out is on Saturday by noon. (If you book different apartments for different weeks, you will need to find your own accommodation for Saturday evening).
We are unable to accommodate early arrivals or late departures.
Residents are expected to check out on time and leave the apartment clean.
The laundry room will be available for a few hours on select evenings. No staff will be present to make change so please bring quarters.
COVID-19 AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
As we don’t know what the Covid situation will be in spring 2023, we can’t yet tell you specifically what our Covid policies will be. Please be assured that our top commitment is to your safety, and that we will err on the side of caution regarding Covid.
Depending on the state of the virus, precautions could include requiring all residents and guests to show proof of vaccination and proof of a negative test result no more than 72 hours before arrival, and that masks be worn in all indoor locations onsite.
We will let you know what our policies will be as we get closer to the beginning of the Returning Residency.
If you choose to cancel your attendance for any other reason, our cancellation policy remains as it always has:
If, for reasons unrelated to Covid, you cancel three weeks or more before the residency start date, you will receive a full refund minus a $75 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than three weeks prior to the residency start date, you will forfeit your payment in full.
