Escape the confines of self-doubt as you discover the art of channeling personal thoughts and emotions into uninhibited drawings. In this workshop, you will begin by examining your unexplained loves, dislikes, and guilty pleasures to become more intimate with your own perspective. Creating a series of preliminary drawings, you will gain the ability to express this newfound intimacy in your final piece. Walk away with a greater confidence in your perspective and invaluable skills to craft responsive, self-judgment-free work.

Autumn Wallace is a visual artist who works across media to create paintings and sculptures that examine human sexuality, gender, and the black femme experience. Influenced by early ‘90s cartoons, Byzantine aesthetics, Baroque Style, and what Wallace describes as “low-quality adult materials,” Wallace’s work generates a sense of fluidity whereby figures defy spatial, social, physical, emotional, and psychological boundaries.
