24PearlStreet Workshops and Events
The “Submit Your Work” accountability Work Group is meant for writers who want to submit to more literary journals in 2019. Whether you’re aiming for 100 rejections or you want to submit work for the first time, this 16-week group can provide support, resources, and camaraderie. It is open to writers of all genres.
This is an accountability group, which means there is no workshop component. Instead, you’ll use your Work Group blog to check in with each other every week about your submission progress and pitfalls. Every two weeks, 24PearlStreet will provide a resource related to the submission process. You’ll aim to get to know each other as writers while collecting acceptances and rejections.
As with all Writers’ Work Groups, this group requires writers who want to actively engage with the submission process and each other. By enrolling in this group, you commit to being an active participant for the length of the term.
**One important note about accountability groups: As a member of an accountability group, you are welcome to share your work for accountability purposes, but you won’t receive critique-style feedback on it. If you’re looking for a critique group, please see the full list of upcoming Work Groups.
