Goal
To invest in artistic practice and the emergence of new creative directions within visual arts and writing.
Objectives
2.1 Strengthen our capacity to be responsive to aesthetic diversity and shifts in artistic production
2.2 Ensure our relevance and excellence by maintaining a strong, transparent selection process anchored in a diversity of perspectives
2.3 Commit to professional documentation of work
2.4 Develop program schedules that maximize high-value, meaningful experiences and minimize the interruption of individual creative practices
2.5 Prioritize enhancing individual work spaces and invest in upgraded shared equipment
2.6 Advocate in support of resources for uninterrupted time and space for artists–particularly those from historically underrepresented backgrounds
2.7 Create platforms–in Provincetown and elsewhere– for past Fellows and faculty to come together to discuss the most pressing issues and ideas of our time
2.8 Integrate anti-racism and racial equity practices into program and organizational policies
