About Our
Tiered Pricing System
Beginning summer 2025, all FAWC Online paid offerings will feature tiered pricing—an approach to removing financial barriers while maintaining the artistic excellence that defines the Fine Arts Work Center experience.
This pricing structure reflects our core commitment to inclusion and access, working in tandem with our scholarship program to welcome artists and writers from diverse economic backgrounds, emerging practitioners, and communities that have been historically underrepresented in our programs.
Choose What Works for You
Every participant receives the same exceptional educational experience, regardless of payment level. The only difference is your ability to select the tier that best fits your current circumstances.
Our pricing applies to two categories of programming:
- Workshops and Classes: Intensive learning experiences led by accomplished faculty
- Creative Community Events: Ongoing support groups and collaborative programming
Tuition Levels
Sustaining Level
For those able to pay it forward
If your financial position allows you to support broader access to FAWC’s educational programming, this level helps ensure that exceptional artistic education remains available to emerging artists and writers who might not otherwise participate.
Amplify your impact: Consider a tax-deductible donation to our Access Fund, dedicated to expanding educational access through scholarship support.
Standard Level
The foundation of our programming
This level enables us to fairly compensate our accomplished faculty and dedicated staff while maintaining the program excellence that defines the FAWC experience. We ask that you choose this level if you’re able.
Subsidized Level
Reduced investment for emerging practitioners
If standard pricing presents a barrier to your participation, this moderately reduced level ensures that financial circumstances don’t prevent your creative growth.

Our Gratitude
Your participation at the highest sustainable level helps us maintain artistic excellence while expanding access for the next generation of creative voices. Together, we’re building a more inclusive artistic community.
