Summer Workshop Program featured in June 2024 Travel + Leisure Magazine

Travel and Leisure’s recent Summer Escapes issue features queer-friendly, lesser-known U.S. vacation spots in an article titled “Beyond Provincetown.” And yet, our town makes an appearance under the heading “Because It’s Iconic For a Reason,” highlighting FAWC’s own Summer Workshop Program, as well as several beloved Provincetown institutions, such as The Pilgrim House, The Red Inn, and The Gas Lamp. It’s very fun to see the Summer Workshop Program highlighted in a print magazine! 

“WHAT’S ON Ptown (above) is rightly famed as an arts community, and the Summer Workshop Program at Fine Arts Work Center offers 65 courses in writing, painting, drawing, photography, and other mediums, led by writers such as Carmen Maria Machado (In the Dream House) and Melissa Febos (Body Work), as well as visual artists including Ilana Savdie, whose work is on view in the Whitney Museum of American Art.”
