The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Awards $100,000 to Provincetown’s Fine Arts Work Center

We are proud to announce that the Fine Arts Work Center has been awarded a $100,000 grant from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts in support of our visual arts programming. This significant investment will help deepen the Work Center’s impact in nurturing artists and fostering public engagement with contemporary art.
The grant will support FAWC’s artist-centered programs, ideally designed to support the creative development of artists today, including our acclaimed seven-month Fellowship, which provides time and space to emerging visual artists; artist residencies that range from one week to two months; educational workshops for all disciplines and abilities; and free public programs and exhibitions that further contemporary discourse.
Following Andy Warhol’s will, the mission of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts is the advancement of the visual arts. The foundation manages an innovative and dynamic grants program while also preserving Warhol’s legacy through creative and responsible licensing policies and extensive scholarly research for ongoing catalogue raisonné projects. To date, the foundation has given over $310 million in cash grants to over 1,000 arts organizations around the country and abroad and has donated 52,786 works of art to 322 institutions worldwide.
We are deeply grateful to The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts for this generous support. This partnership strengthens our commitment to advancing the work of artists at all stages of creative development and affirms the vital role of the arts in shaping a more vibrant, thoughtful, and connected world.
