Summer Workshop Program 2025 Cancellation Policies

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you cancel your workshop three weeks or more before the workshop start date, you will receive a full refund minus a $75 cancellation fee. If you cancel your workshop less than three weeks prior to the workshop start date, you will forfeit your payment in full.

If you cancel your housing three weeks or more before your class start date, you will receive a full refund minus a $75 processing fee for each housing cancellation. If you cancel your housing less than three weeks prior to your class start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.

If you would like to cancel your workshop, please send an email to workshops@fawc.org.

Note:  Any request to “switch” or “transfer” from one workshop to another is subject to all the same cancellation policies as listed above. 


COVID-19 Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our top commitment is your safety. Health recommendations regarding COVID-19 change frequently. In light of this, we will share our complete set of policies as we approach the start of the Summer Workshop Program.

In the event of cancellation of an in-person Summer 2024 Workshop by the Fine Arts Work Center due to COVID-19,  you will be able to defer payment to Summer 2026, or you will be eligible for a full refund.

If you need to cancel your attendance due to a positive COVID test, we will be happy to place you in a session later in the season. Otherwise, you will be able to defer payment to Summer 2026 or be eligible for a full refund with proof of a positive test.
