Getting to Provincetown

By Air

Cape Air flies direct from Boston’s Logan Airport to Provincetown Airport at Race Point. Or you may fly to Boston and then take the ferry (see By Boat below) to Provincetown. To get from the Logan Airport to the ferry dock, take Boston Public Transit Silver Line Route 1 to the World Trade Center stop or take the water taxi.

By Boat

Bay State Cruise Company and Boston Harbor Cruises both provide ferry service from Boston to Provincetown.

By Bus

Plymouth & Brockton Bus Co. offers bus service from New York City, Boston and Providence to Hyannis.

By Car

The Fine Arts Work Center is located at 24 Pearl Street in Provincetown, Massachusetts at the tip of Cape Cod. Driving time from Boston takes approximately 2.5 hours and 6 hours from New York City.

Getting around Provincetown

Provincetown is best experienced on foot or bicycle – driving and parking can be extremely challenging. If wheeled transportation is needed, Provincetown offers shuttle buses, taxis and pedi-cabs. If you do, however, have a car and need parking, please visit the Provincetown Chamber of Commerce for parking information.
