One of the greatest challenges in portrait photography is helping the subject feel at ease in front of the camera. To capture a person’s true essence and access moments of vulnerability in an authentic and sincere way, it’s essential for the subject to see themselves as they truly are. However, when someone poses for a photograph, they often put on a mask, becoming someone else due to a desire for acceptance or discomfort with vulnerability.

This week-long immersive experience is designed to gradually build the skills needed for authentic portraiture. Through the use of artificial lighting techniques, you will learn how to establish a genuine connection with your subject, while also covering workflow and image processing. This hands-on workshop aims to empower both photographers and their subjects, fostering confidence in creating unique, intimate, and real portraits.

Bring a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. Not mandatory, but if you want to bring Strobe or Speed lights you may.
